So there was Typhoon Ondoy, who left us Filipinos with lessons of preparedness, sympathy, and compassion.

Classes were suspended because of the aftermath and some families are given time to recover. Even though we were not that affected by the flood, it was still uneasy to see our fellow countrymen suffering and crying over their mud-saturated belongings.

One of my professors was devastated by the flood. His office, located in an underground level, was submerged in floodwater. I'm glad they're safe, after staying two days on their second floor. But what I am anxious about is that his collection of INK sketches, framed artworks, and hundred rolls of landscape design plates, were located there. I really hope he was able to save all of them.

On the other hand, this week with no class was no good. I became a certified bum! It was supposed to be a week of requirement completion so as to prepare for the finals, but no... I just place myself in front of the computer doing unnecessary stuff.

But hey, it's not bad to be a bum, sometimes.
